16-year old Mohammed Akram Abu Shaqra from Khan Younis liked to play football. He won several medals as a good goalkeeper. “He wanted to play for the Palestine national team and to represent Palestine in international events,” his sister Hadeel, 14, says. He liked karate and boxing. He was described as being a good friend to his sister Hadeel.
On 23 July 2014, when Mohammed and his cousins, Abdel Rahman, 17, and Issam, 47, were on their way to the family farm to feed the chickens, an Israeli drone fired a missile at their car. Three people were killed in the attack, including Mohammed.
