Date of Birth: 22 May 2001
Date of Death: 20 July 2014
Thirteen-year-old Jawdat from Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip was very good in school. He liked electronics. His ambition was to study electronics and telecommunications in university. “He began learning how to hack, starting with my Facebook page, which he stole,” his father said.
“The day he died, before sun set, he asked me to go to the mosque. Then he went to change his clothes. He changed, and the Al Maghreb call to prayer started. While he was still inside the house, an Israeli warplane bombarded our house. Everybody inside the house was killed, including Jawdat, and a twenty-meter deep hole was left in place of the house,” his father said.
