Date of Death: 20 July 2014
Six-year-old Ayoub Tayseer Ahmed Abu Jamee from Khan Younis liked playing computer games and mobile phone games like many boys his age. He’d hoped to become a policeman like his father when he grew up. He had been looking forward to starting school; he was due to start first grade in a month. “He loved riding on his father’s motorcycle and begged to be able to ride it by himself. So his father had promised to buy him a bicycle,” said his uncle.
On 20 July 2014, just before sunset the Abu Jamee’s three-story house was bombarded with missiles by Israeli forces. There was no prior warning given. “It was a real massacre; twenty-six people were killed. Three people were injured and survived,” his uncle added.
