Ahmed Mohamed Abdullah Al-Najjar from Khan Younis was 17-years-old when he was killed in an Israeli attack. Ahmed liked playing football and swimming and had hoped to study Sharia law at university.
On 24 July2014, Ahmed heard an attack on the street outside his home and he ran out to try to help the injured. The group was then targeted with another Israeli missile, fatally injuring Ahmed and his father, along with several others. When the paramedics arrived, Ahmed told them to leave him and to help his father instead. He died on his way to the hospital.
