Four-year-old Ibrahim was a very active, energetic and bright little boy. “He always used to catch people’s attention,” his father says. He liked to spend time playing with his grandfather.
At around 7:30 am on Tuesday, 29 July 2014, the second day of Eid, an Israeli drone attacked the family’s apartment, which is located on the third floor of a building on As-Salam Street in Deir Al Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Ibrahim was killed in the attack. His mother, Dima, 27, sustained serious injuries to her legs. His father sustained first degree burns and several serious leg injuries.
