Sixteen-year-old Eman from Deir Al Balah was kind, active, and a sociable girl. She helped her mother in the housework and she was a good cook. She was very ambitious and hoped to do well in her final exam in high school, Al – Tawjihi, and then go to university. Eman’s death hugely affected her friends.
At approximately 5:30 am on 22 July 2014 an Israeli warplane attacked Eman’s home, killing Eman. Her sister Ibtihal, 4, and her brother Yousif, 21, were also killed in the attack. “She had a heart of gold and she was an obedient girl,” said her mother.
