Date of birth: 13 August 2001
Date of death: 25 July 2014
Twelve-year-old Ahmed from Abu Setta in Al Nosairat in the middle of the Gaza Strip was an obedient, beloved, responsible and elegant child. He liked to help his mother around the house. He loved playing football and swimming. He spent most of his time at his uncle’s house.
On 25 July 2014, there was an intense random shelling by Israeli forces in the central area of the Gaza Strip, particularly in the Abu Dabagh area. Ahmed was passing through when a shell hit him. He died along with five others. His uncle and his brother were injured too. “The day before his killing, he asked me to take some photos for him so that his family could remember him,” said his mother.
