Four-year-old Hala from Block-7 in Al Buraij in the center of the Gaza Strip was described as a little vixen. She liked to play all the time. She was excited and anxious to start kindergarten and her mother bought her the school uniform in preparation. “I miss them all. I remember them all the time,” said her grandmother.
On 29 July 2014, the Abu Jaber family house was bombarded by an Israeli bomb without warning. Many houses were destroyed and nineteen people were killed including Hala. Many others were wounded. It took more than twenty-four hours to recover their bodies.
