Short Link:
Name: Abdullah Hail Abu Dahrouj
Date of birth: 28 July 2011
Date of death: 23 August 2014
Abdullah, 3, from Dier Al Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip was a calm and obedient child. He spent most of his time with his brother, Hadi, and his grandmother. He liked to play computer games. His ambition was to go to kindergarten. He had prepared his bag, with pencil and notebook.
On 16 July 2014, our family was asked to evacuate our house by Israeli forces. After ten minutes most of the house was destroyed, with just a small part still inhabitable. Many of us returned to our home. On 22 July 2014, without warning, the house was attacked again. Six people were instantly killed, including Abdullah. “I feel so sad about losing them. I visit their graves for hours, just talking to them,” said his cousin Abed Rabu.
