Nine-year-old Zeyad from Gaza City was a clever, distinguished, and obedient boy. He was helpful to his father. He was becoming a good mechanic and electrician. His ambition was to be a specialist in medical tests. He loved writing and drawing. He spent his spare time watching cartoons. He especially liked Tom and Jerry. “He was very curious, so he used to ask many questions about many different subjects,” his aunt said. He spent his last night with his aunt playing games.
On 21st August 2014, the whole family was riding a motorcycle cart heading to their land to carry out some works when they were targeted by Israeli forces. Three of them were immediately killed. Zeyad sustained serious injuries and died after ten days.
