Six-year-old Tala from Al Tof'fah neighborhood in the east of Gaza City was very joyful, lovable and obedient. She was an elegant child. She liked to play with her dolls. She was very close to her family, especially her aunts. She was scared during the war. "Tala was the best among her siblings, and everybody loved her," said her grandmother.
At 11:00 am on 20 July 2014 and without warning, the Al-Atawy’s house was targeted with three missiles. The house was destroyed. Three people were killed on the spot, including Tala, her grandfather and her aunt. Seven people were seriously injured.
