Four-year-old Osama Ahmed Abdel Razeq Al Helou from Al Shatee refugee camp was a well-behaved little boy who did everything he was told by his parents. He loved playing football and marbles and messing around, imitating his family members.
On 28 July 2014, the first day of the Eid holiday, Osama and his brother Rami went outside to play on the seesaw with some other children from the neighborhood. The children were targeted by an Israeli warplane and ten of them were killed in the attack, including Osama. Rami survived with injuries to his lungs.
“I really wanted to see him grow up. He death has left us with emptiness. The most difficult moment was when I went to the morgue to look for my kids,” says his mother.
