Five-year-old Noor from the Al Sabrah neighborhood in Gaza City was a beautiful and adventurous child. She was very close to her uncle, who spoiled her because she was the only girl among her brothers. She played with the boys a lot. When her father came home after work, she would stick to him until bedtime.
She liked the Toyor Al Jannah children’s channel on TV and had memorized the songs. She spent very happy times with the birds and chickens raised by her family. She was blonde and had colorful eyes. “She was supposed to enter kindergarten soon and she was very enthusiastic about that,” said her uncle.
Noor died of injuries she sustained at 7:00 am on 29 July 2014 in an Israeli bombardment. The lower part of her body was burned very seriously.
