Twelve-year-old Mohamed from Al Shate’e refugee camp in the west of Gaza City was a calm and obedient child. He was the first child for his parents. His hobbies were playing football and computer games and he was a good student. “Mohamed liked technical works, so he used to do all of the repairs in his house,” said his grandmother (62).
On 28 July 2014, the first day of Eid, Mohammed and his friends were playing in the street when they were attacked by an Israeli warplane. Ten children were killed in the attack including Mohammed.
