8-year-old Jamal Saleh I’liyan from Gaza was a sociable boy. He loved animals and raised cats, dogs and birds. He had a cat named Samara and a dog named Max. “After Jamal’s death, his dog’s habits changed. The dog got so used to Jamal,” said his mother.
On the first day of the Eid holiday when the children were gathered in the street around a seesaw, waiting their turn to go on, an Israeli warplane attacked them. Eleven children were killed including Jamal.
