Date of death: 20 July 2014
Twelve-year-old Ibrahim from the southern Al Remal neighborhood in the center of Gaza City was a smart and well-loved child. He was very curious and used to ask many questions. He loved playing and watching football matches. He was good at playing video games. “His ambition was to be a journalist because it is an adventurous and a risky job,” said his father.
The Am'mar family had been living in the Cordoba residential building just beneath the Al Hallaq family's apartment when on 20 July 2014 the Al Hallaq family was attacked by Israeli forces. Three missiles struck the apartment without warning. Eleven people were killed instantly, including Ibrahim. Many others were seriously injured.
