Date of death: 21 July 2014
Four-year-old Yasmeen from Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip “used to carry her kindergarten bag 24 hours a day,” said her mother. She was dreaming of the day she would start kindergarten. She was named by her father, while her mother wanted to name her Rama. She was close to her mother. She liked to play with her brother Hatem.
On 21 July 2014, Yasmeen and her family relocated to her grandfather's house seeking a safe place to stay. An Israeli missile hit the house without prior warning. Yasmeen was immediately killed along with her brother Hatem, 3, and her grandparents.
"I want to get Hatem and Yasmeen back to play with them; all of my friends have siblings except me,” said his sister Mayar ,6.
