Nine-year-old Yassen from Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip was an outstanding student at school. His ambition was to be an engineer like his father. He liked to play and run within his house. “He used to spend his time on their farm,” his aunt Majida, 43, said.
Yassen was killed along with his four siblings: Yasser, 8; Sawsan, 11; Reem, 12; and Eleas, 4, and his parents, when their house was attacked with missiles on 21 July 2014. "I remember Elias studying so hard to prove that he was the best and he was able to be like his father,” his aunt added.
