Name: Salma Salem Rajab Al Rade’e
Date of birth: 7 March 2014
Date of death: 23 July 2014
Salma from Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip was a very smart child. She memorized a few wods of English. She liked only expensive chocolate and make-up. She was very tidy. She used to imitate older people.
“The day she was killed, her last request was to put on some make-up, so she could look more beautiful. Her brother was holding her just outside their front door. An Israeli missile was launched at them. She was killed at the age of four months along with her brother Ra’ed, 19. Salma’s clothes and make-up are still in her room, but she is no longer here,” says her father, Salem, who is 49.
