Name: Saher Salman Abu Namoos
Date of birth: 3 October 2011
Date of death: 11 July 2014
Saher was a humorous and daring child. He was the fifth child of his parents. He was his father’s favorite son. “He was not scared during the war except the day he died. He told his mother: “‘I’m too scared mother, hide me in your womb’,” said his father Salman, who is 33.
An Israeli missile targeted a group of children in front of Saher’s house. “Saher was immediately killed because he lost half of his head,” his brother said. “Our father carried his body while screaming. He was killed at the age of thirty-three months without committing any guilt except for being a Palestinian child,” his brother Mahmoud said. Mahmoud is 8 years old.
