Nine-year-old Rabe'e from a Bedouin village in the north of the Gaza Strip was very concerned about his mother. He was very close to his mother and used to accompany her when she visited her family in Egypt.
“His ambition was to be a doctor,” his mother says.
On 23 July 2014, Rabe'e was directly targeted by an Israeli missile when he was on a donkey cart. He was wounded and tried to escape. A second Israeli missile hit him. He was immediately killed at the age of nine.
