Aya from Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip was a very kind girl. She had a sweet voice. She memorized the Quran. Aya's ambition was to be a computer engineer. "Aya was my second mother," said her sister Walaa’, 22.
On 20 July 2014, Aya was watching Al Shejaeiah massacre on TV along with her mother. She was killed at the age of seventeen when an Israeli missile hit her house. "I hoped to see her a beautiful bride one day," her mother, Nasrah, said.
