Sixteen-year-old Aseel from Beit Hanoon town in the North of the Gaza Strip was a calm child. She was an outstanding student at school. Her hobbies were reading and swimming. Her ambition was to be a doctor and get married to her cousin.
On 9 July 2014, Aseel was on her way to visit her aunt along with her siblings and mother. An Israeli drown missile directly targeted them. Many people were killed in the attack including Aseel; her brother Mohamed, 14; and his Mother Saher, 39, said his surviving sister Shema’.
