Date of death: 25 August 2014
Fifteen-year-old Ahmed from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip intently followed the incidents and updates of war and the news about the permanent truce through news websites. Ahmed was very concerned about his family’s safety during the war.
He liked to raise birds and chickens. His ambition was to graduate and get a decent job to help his father.
Just a couple of days before the end of the war, Israeli warplanes dropped a bomb on his house. “Ahmed was killed instantly,” said his surviving mother.
