Seventeen-year-old Ahlam from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was an elegant child. Her ambition was to study arts and to be an art teacher. “She loved her nephews very much,” said her aunt, Ne’ma, 51.
On 18 July 2014, most of Ahlam's family members gathered in a room in their house, believing it to be a safe place. An Israeli missile targeted them. Ahlam was immediately killed and her face was hard to be identified.
