At approximately 4:10 pm on Friday, 7 November 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a number of Palestinians who were near the eastern border in the east of the Islamic cemetery in Jabaliya in norther Gaza.
As a result, Ahmed Khalid Abdullah Abu Shakyan, 23, resident of Jabaliya, sustained shrapnel wound in the bottom of his stomach.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan hospital described his injury as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu Shakyan was about 200 meters away from the borders when he was injured.
