At approximately 12:05 am on Wednesday 22 January 2014, an Israeli aircraft fired a missile targeting two young men who were setting in a civil white Citroen car that was parked in a bystreet east As-Sekka street in Beit Hanoun in North Gaza district.
Ahmed Mohammed Jum’a Khalil Az-Za’aneen, 21, and Mohammed Yousef Ahmed Az-za’aneen, 22, were immediately killed and their bodies were torn up.
As a result of the attack, the car was totally destroyed and the house of Ahmed’s family was partially damaged.
According to Al Mezan’s filed investigation, Avichay Adraee, the spokesman of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) admitted the assassination of Ahmed for being one of the Palestinian resistance activists.
According to Al Mezan’s filed information, Ahmed and his friend Mohammed were standing in front of Ahmed’s house in the middle of his family’s which is located in As-sekka street.
