Short Link:
At approximately 1:00 pm on Thursday 2 January 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of Palestinian young men near the borders east of the Islamic cemetery east of Jabaliya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Adnan Jameel Shehda Abu Khater, 16, sustained a bullet wound in his pelvis that caused bleeding.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan hospital described his injury as critical and they referred him to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza, where doctors refered him to one of the Israeli hospitals but he died before arrival.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Palestinian young men and children usually go near the border areas in holidays to visit the cemetery and the agricultural lands.
