At around 11:45 am on Tuesday 30, July, 2013, verbal dispute erupted between some workers who work in Al Muntar Company for Trading and Construction and members of Abu Obaed (Abu Samra).
The workers were working on expanding Salah Ad-Deen street in Deir AL-Balah near the industrial zone.
While they were working, water pipes were damaged in front of the house of Rajih Suliman Abu Obeid.
The dispute developed between the two sides where small arms where used.
As a result, Rajih Suliman Abu Obeid, 39, sustained bullet wounds in the thighs and Adham Mahmoud ‘Abed, 32, director at the construction company, sustained bullet wound in the left thigh.
Also four others wounded by sustained bruises and wounds caused by the use of sticks and iron poles, the injured were taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, and the police arrived to the place and opened an investigation into the incident.
