On Friday 3rd May 2013, at approximately 5:00 am, Israeli vessels opened sporadic fire miles on Palestinian fishing boats at a distance of about three nautical coasts off the coast in Rafah.
Israeli attacks continued until 11:00 am on the same day.
An Israeli gunboat moved in full speed around a Palestinian fishing boat which belonged to Mohammed Rafat Baker, 30, producing large quantities of water and partially drowning it.
Moreover, two motors and six flashlights were damaged forcing fishermen to abandon their work and sail back to the shore.
