At approximately 7:00 am on Wednesday 19 December 2012, four Israeli tanks accompanied by two armored bulldozers moved under sporadic covering fire about 200 meters into the Al Qatbaniya area east of Beit Hanoun.
The bulldozers started to build a road that extends from 100 meters to 200 meters in As-Sa’adat and Al Ahmar areas.
At approximately 1:40 pm on the same day, the IOF opened fire at a number of volunteers from the Local Initiative who were documenting the Israeli incursion.
In the evening hours on the same day, the IOF withdrew from the area.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
