At approximately 9:15 pm on Monday 18 June 2012, a locally launched rocket fired towards Israel accidentally hit the house of ‘Azzam Yousif Hamad, located on Al Qarman street in Beit Hanoun, North Gaza district.
Three children were injured as a result: Bara’a ‘Azzam Hamad, 12, and her sisters Mai, 3, and Jannat, 4.
The children sustained bruises and other wounds in different parts of their bodies.
Medical sources at Beit Hanoun Hospital described their injuries as light.
The house is about 120 square meters in area.
