on Saturday 30 July 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened sporadic fire at Palestinian farmers who were in their field near the separation fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The farmers were in the Hammdouna family field about 400 meters away from the separation fence when the IOF opened fire on them.
As a result, Mosa Ibrahim Abu Dahbal, 25, sustained a light bullet wound in the head.
This was not the first time that the IOF has opened fire at Palestinian farmers in fields located in access-restricted areas and prevented them from taking care of their crops.
