At approximately 2:25 a.
m.
on Friday 24 June 2011, unknown armed men opened fire at the external gate and the administration building of the Crazy Water Park.
The armed men then broke into the adjacent Faisal Club for Horse Riding and opened fire.
The shooting scared the employees there and they fled the club.
The armed men threw leaflets signed by the “Gaza Honorable Sons.
” The leaflets contained a statement reading “We apologize for the Government for this act.
” The leaflets described the sites attacked as “corrupted places.
” The police arrived at the scene, opened an investigation, and collected and confiscated the leaflets.
