The Gaza police investigation unit summoned a mother and daughter, who are residents of An-Nuseirat refugee camp, to their office 'Abu 'Irban' in An-Nuseirat refugee camp.
In the morning hours of Tuesday 18 April 2011, both mother and daughter presented themselves at the apparatus office.
In her affidavit to Al Mezan, the mother said that the apparatus members severely beat her with water cannons and her daughter was beaten on her foot.
At approximately 2:30pm on the same day, the apparatus referred them to Abu Medein police station before releasing them later on the same day.
Their families admitted them to Al AqsaShuhada Hospital in Deir Al Balah to receive medical treatment.
