IOF Arrests Palestinian Patient at Erez Crossing

At approximately 2pm on Tuesday 1 March 2011, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian patient, Mahdi Atef Hassan Abu Nasser, 20, at Erez crossing in the North of the Gaza Strip.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, Abu Nasser obtained a medical referral to the Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem.
He also had a permit from the Israelis to cross Erez to reach the hospital.
When Abu Naser and his escorting mother arrived at Erez crossing, the IOF detained Abu Nasser.
The IOF referred him to Ashkelon Israeli prison where he is now under interrogation.
