On Tuesday 12 October 2010, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) Hosni Ahmed Abu Reeda, 42, while he was at the Erez crossing between Gaza and Israel.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, Abu Reeda, who holds a businessman card (BMC) applied to the Ministry of Civil Affairs to obtain permission to travel via Erez Crossing.
The Israeli security asked him to go to Erez Crossing for an interview with the Israeli intelligence services on 12 October 2010.
When Abu Reeda went there on that date, the IOF arrested him and transferred him to a detention center in Israel.
