At app. 2:20pm on Wednesday 5 May 2010, the dead body of Batoul Hussein Salim Kaloub, 7, was admitted to Kamal Odwan Hospital. According to the medical examination, the dead body was shot by several bullets in the abdomen area. One of the bullets entered beneath the chest and exited from the left shoulder. According to Al Mezan's field investigations, Batoul Hussein Kaloub died due to mishandling an automatic Kalashnikov. Kaloub was at her house in Block 8 in Jabalia refugee camp, in North Gaza District. Police opened an investigation in the incident.
