9:30am on Wednesday 3 February 2010, Abu Dajana Abdel-Rahman, 22, was killed in a mysterious explosion in the basement of a residential building in As-Sahaba Street in Ad-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.
Four other persons were injured in the same incident; two of them were children and a mother.
Al Mezan identified their names as follows:
· Randa Mohammed Al-Hartani, 32; (and her twin children)
· Shaymaa and Belal Ayoub Al Hartani, both 5 months; and (friend of their father’s)
· Abdullah Khamis Dababish, 35.
After the incident, Al Qassam Brigades announced the death of Abu Dajana in what it described as a ‘resistance mission’.
