The security apparatus in Gaza prevented the under-secretary of the Education Ministry and her husband from travelling via Erez Crossing.
Security apparatus members who are stationed at the Al-Jamarek (Customs) Junction south of Erez Crossing stopped Mrs.
Zainab Al-Wazeer (57) and her husband, Mousa Al-Wazeer (58), who is a consultant with the Ministry of Finance, at the checkpoint and prevented them from reaching Erez Crossing.
The couple were on their way to Jordan for health care related reasons.
They had official documents proving the purpose of their travel.
The security apparatus members confiscated the ID cards and passports from Mr.
and Mrs.
Al-Wazeer.
