At app. 12.30am on 23 April 2009, five IOF armored vehicles penetrated Al Shoubaki area, in the north of Beit Hanoun, about 650 meters from the northern borderline. They withdrew at app. 4am on the same day after bulldozing lands in the vicinity of the area. This is the first time the IOF enters north Gaza after their recent military operation 'Cast Lead' against the Gaza Strip.
