On June 22nd at approximately 10.30am, armed persons blocked the way of Abdul Menem Shbeir, 44, Director of Social Affairs Ministry's Directorate, who was driving his car in Deir Al Balah downtown. He was taken to unknown area, beaten and then released near Deir Al Balah beach. It was reported that Shbeir is a resident of Khan Younis.
