On 5 September 2007, the Executive Force and Al Qassam brigades (EF) arrested 25 Fateh activists from different areas of northern the Gaza Strip. The 25 men were taken to the former General Intelligence Apparatus building "Al Mashtal", and to other police stations currently run by the EF. The detention occurred as most of those arrested refused to present before the EF despite their receipt of summon notes.
