At approximately 11.
30am, on 21 September 2007, four children were injured by shrapnel wounds to different parts of their bodies as they played with a suspect device of IOF remnants in the evacuated settlement of Doghit, northwest Beit Lahia.
The device detonated and injured 10-year-old Shadi Abu Halimeh, 14-year-old Muhammad Issam Abu Halimeh, 16-year-old Muhammad Ziyad Abu Halimeh , and 16-year-old Nasser Adel Abu Halimeh.
The latter was referred to an Israeli hospital as he was reported to have sustained serious injuries.
