4pm, on 3/1/2008, IOF helicopters fired two missiles at a base of Al Qassam Brigades southwest of Tel As-Sultan neighborhood in the town Rafah.
The shelling resulted in the killing of Abdullah Queshta, 35, and the injuring of four citizens: 48-year-old Samir Mearaj suffered from shrapnel in his back, 17-year-old Mohamed Moussa suffered from shrapnel in his left foot, 27-year-old Ameer Khafaga suffered from shrapnel in his face, and 13-year-old Hossam Al-Sakka suffered from bruises to his back.
It is worth mentioning that Abdullah Queshta had just returned to the Gaza Strip from Egypt after fleeing when Hamas took over the government in June 2007.
He was a Fateh activist and was arrested by Al Qassam Brigades upon his return to Gaza on 2/1/2008 through the Rafah crossing.
