Two Palestinians Killed by IOF in Northern Gaza

10am, on 7/1/2008, the IOF, stationed on the northern border of Gaza, opened fire at a young man and a woman who were approaching the border.
The two were killed and they were identified as Bassam Mustafa, 26, and Maysaa Fanona, 21.
They suffered from several live bullets in different parts of their bodies.
At app.
11am, on the same day, the IOF informed the Ministry of Health (MoH) about the existence of two injured people near the Erez crossing.
The IOF prevented Palestinian ambulances from approaching the area twice, in spite of the fact that they made coordination with the IOF.
Later that day, app.
6pm, they were granted access and took the two bodies to Kamal Odwan hospital.
