3:40pm, on 18/1/2008, an IOF F-16 aircraft launched a missile at the old Ministry of the Interior building in Tel Al Hawa neighborhood, near to the Ministries compound in Gaza City.
The four-story building was completely destroyed.
The shelling coincided with a large wedding that was being celebrated nearby.
As a result, an aunt of the groom, Haniya Abed Al Gawad, 52, was killed.
She died from a stone to her head, received directly from the shelling.
Forty-six other citizens were injured, all with various wounds, including 19 children and three women.
It is reported that many of the windows and walls in neighboring residential buildings were damaged by the shelling, particularly the five-story Al Ashee and Al Hazem buildings, which were near the Ministry.
