2:30pm, on 17/1/2008, 13-year-old Mohammad Fayyad was injured by a live bullet to his abdomen.
He was injured near his school, Ibn Nafis, in Al Karara village.
An armed group belonging to one of the factions was conducting military training in that area.
The child was transferred immediately after his injury to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis for treatment.
He was reported to have sustained moderate injury.
