On 3 March 2008, Palestinian medical sources announced the death of two citizens from injuries they sustained during an IOF incursion in eastern Jabalia. They were identified as 27-year-old Ghassan Abdel Hai Abed Rabbo and 18-year-old Hassan Zeiada Abu Jasir. They died in Al Arish Hospital in Egypt.
