On Tuesday, 22/7/2008, at approximately 11:50 am, gunmen, in a yellow Volex Wagen vehicle, intensively opened fire toward a group of activists from Saraiya Al Quds, the military wing of the Islamic movement of Al Jihad, while they were walking in Al awda Street, near Al Awda hospital, in Tal Al Zaatar neighborhood. As a result, two among them were injured. Medical sources in Al Awda hospital described their injuries as more than moderate. Although the gunmen fled, police caught them in Assaftawi neighborhood, in northern Gaza and led them to one of the detention centers.
